The SuperKliq finally have arrived in AEW, and now they have their first ever PPV match. However, it’s not a fun time for these old friends – instead they kicked off a blood feud. One by one, they took out Christian Cage, Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy – but they didn’t finish the job. So when they returned and fought back, it set in forth a series of events that led to tonights brutal No Hold Barred match.

It will be easy to keep track of Nick Jackson – he dyed his moustache pink for this one. The Superkliq are decked out in Pink & Black, while Jurrassic Express & Christian had jeans on for a street fight.

An All Out War From The Opening Bell

This one started off with everyone pairing off for brawls. The Superkliq were taken out of the ring one at a time, with Jurassic Express following. Adam Cole & Christian stayed in the ring, where they both looked for their finishers. Some punches in the face met Cole instead, before he superkicked the knee of Christian.

Jungle Boy took the fight to Cole, before The Young Bucks were back in the mix. They’d clear out the ring until Luchasarus rushed in. Cole would throw a chair at Luchasaurus, before Young Bucks took him out. Jungle Boy set up a chair and tried to powerbomb Cole onto it, before instead hitting a double armdrag and taking a seat. Adam Cole taunted on the chair, but was caught with a reverse DDT.

He’d be back soon with a trash can, before being told he trash can’t when Jungle Boy suplexed him before a trio of dives to the outside. Christian Cage would pick up the trash can before Nick Jackson kicked it into his face. Adam Cole went face first into a steel chair, and Luchasarus grabbed a table. Cole was bloody and set for a Con-Chair-To, but Jungle Boy hesitated and they lost the advantage.

Luchasarus would do his best to get things on track, trying to hit a Razor’s Edge from the ring through a table. He was stopped, but Jungle Boy sent him through one table with a hurricanrana, but Matt Jackson hit an elbow drop through the table with Luchasaurus. Nick Jackson & Christian Cage were up in the crowd, and both stooges were there too.

Christian Cage From The Heavens On The Superkliq

Cage would climb high in the stands and dive down, but only got a two count for the stunt. They’d make their way back toward the ring, where COle hit a wheelbarrow German to the apron. Cole grabbed a black bag, a favorite tool of Hardcore Icon Britt Baker. Jungle Boy got handfuls of tacks force fed to him, as Cole held the camel clutch before double superkicks.

A ladder was brought into the ring, and Christian Cage would go one on three with the Superkliq, nailing a tornado DDT to Nick onto said ladder. Luchasarus would block Panama Sunrise, and slam Cole down. Matt would punish him with a trash can and get a one count. Matt would punish him with a trash can and get a one count.

Matt Jackson was lured into a Snare Trap, but Cole made the save. Cole climbed the stage for Panama Sunrise, getting a two count. After some Superkick parties, Cole had some thumbtack covered knee pads for everyone. Three way BTE Trigger would land on Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy made the save. He’d get revenge with a chokeslam to Cole off the stage, before a Shooting Star Press off the stage. Finally, Jungle Boy would take the con-chair-too, crushing Nick Jackson for the win.

An absolute car crash brawl of a match, which all six men thrive in. The action never stopped, and they used the arena well, but it lacked stakes or a better than average build. It went a bit too deep, as Young Bucks matches tend to go these days. Match Rating: 3.5/5 (*** 1/2)

Ever since Malakai Black showed up in AEW, he’s had it out for Cody Rhodes. He’s beaten him twice, with Rhodes getting one win over him. Black has even brought in close friend Andrade El Idolo to bring more pain to Rhodes. Due to Andrade messing with The Lucha Bros, PAC has joined the fray – and now we have four of AEW’s best in a huge tag team encounter. No one entered as a team, with all four men taking their time for separate entrances.

    BUT CAN THEY CO-EXIST?

PAC & Andrade would start, but Rhodes tagged himself in. It would go back and forth, until Andrade hit PAC from behind. PAC got Andrade with a big armdrag and side headlock takeover, before Black tagged himself in. Despite this, they seem to be on the same page unlike PAC & Rhodes. PAC would maintain control of the match as Rhodes tagged in and pulled out a finger point.

Andrade tagged himself in, and hit a big forearm smash before getting hung up in the ropes as Rhodes went to the arpon. Jose would grab the ankle of Rhodes and Andrade took him down. PAC & Black tagged themselves in, and this one was getting old. The second things got going, Andrade got in and hit some boots to PAC. Rhodes tagged himself in and hit Cody Cutter before teasing a Pedigree. Black Mass took Rhodes out, but PAC tagged in first.

Black was sent to the outside, and PAC hit a moonsault before Arn Anderson beat up Jose. PAC was shoved off the top rope into the boot of Black, before he rolled outside and was caught with a dive and flapjack. Back in the ring, Andrade hit a moonsault for a two count. Rhodes was being checked on the outside as PAC was nailed with a DDT to the apron.

Cody would finally be able to tag in and hit a big reverse superplex on Andrade before looking for the Figure Four. PAC shockingly tagged himself in and hit 450 Splash but Andrade got the bottom rope. Rhodes would be pulled into the way of a dive from PAC, before PAC was kicked out by Andrade. Black finished Rhodes off on the outside, and PAC nailed Black Arrow in the ring to win.

A messy match that lost the crowd, which was hard given they’ve been hit since the Buy In. They used the wrong set-up for the insane amount of talent, as no one wanted to work together as teams. Add in that it went far too long, and you have the down part in an otherwise solid show. Match Rating: 2.25/5 (** 1/4)

Will these two feuds be done after this messy match? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
