Nyla Rose meets Soho in the next round of the TBS Tournament, nd to get an edge put a bounty on the head of her more experienced opponent. On AEW Dynamite, Ruby Soho was victim to a three on one beatdown, with Penelope Ford & The Bunny starting the brawl, and Nyla Rose jumping in. Tay Conti & Anna Jay made the save, and will back up Soho as they take on some very familiar foes.
Ruby Soho Shows Her Resilience, But Team Nyla Gets The Win
Nyla Rose would start this one with Tay Conti, quickly tagging in Bunny to do the dirty work. Conti would catch Bunny with some quick Judo tosses, before Anna Jay got a tag. Soho would get into the teamwork of TayJay, holding Bunny in place for the running pump kick of Conti.
Vickie Guerrero at ringside would be able to get The Bunny an opening, allowing her to tag in Penelope Ford. A big pump kick got Ford a two count, before Rose would tag into the match. The beatdown of Conti was going very well – with even Bunny getting back into the fight and able to control Conti even with hard strikes being sent her way.
Soho would get a chance to enter the match as Conti nailed a huge running elbow. Ford would be dropped with a leg sweep for the two count, before being able to block a backdrop and tag in Rose. Rose would run Soho down with a body block, before pulling her into the corner for a beatdown.
In the middle of the ring, she’d look for a big Chokebomb, with Soho’s head bouncing off the mat. She’d be thrown into the corner, but used a low bridge to take Rose out of the ring. Bunny ran a distraction, allowing Rose to delay the tag – but not stop it. Jay would come in with some deadly kicks, before dodging a hip drop and getting a two count.
Bunny ran an attack, only to take the TayKO. Conti took the neckbreaker from Rose, and Rose was dropped by the No Future Kick from Soho. Bunny was armed with brass knuckles, giving an easy KO punch on Jay. Rose nailed Beast Bomb, stealing the win.
A chaotic but fun six woman tag. Match Rating: 2.5/5 (** 1/2)
Backstage, Sting and Darby Allin would be interviewed. Sting is returning to Greensboro for Holiday Bash, but before he could talk – FTR & Tully Blanchard would attack. Tully went for a punch on his old rival, before Allin made the save.
The three on two advantage was too much, and FTR would hold Sting back for a low blow from Tully. He wants one more round with the Stinger, and we could be seeing that very soon.
