Chris, for his part, has been accused of sexual assault by three women. Although Chris has denied the accusations that have come forward, it has not stopped the consequences which have followed.
One of those has been Chris’ removal from the hit show ‘The Equalizer.’ Just when you though that was bad enough, another actress Zoe Lister-Jones who has seen Chris first-hand on a set expressed the horrors that she had witnessed.
Not only did she state that she had seen him drunk on the set of ‘Law and Order’, she also stated how she had witnessed inappropriate behaviour towards other women.
And given that Bridget had starred with Chris on ‘Sex and the City’, it would have been plausible to think that she had something that could be pertinent to the conversation.
And yet, she remained very coy on the matter. In an interview with Elle, Bridget said: “It would be inappropriate for me to comment on things I don’t have any knowledge of.”
This is understandable for the following reasons. It is very hard to comment about something that has not been proven yet. Therefore, it is only natural to hold back until further information has come to light.
Secondly, even if Bridget had stated something, the fact of the matter is that this is potentially a legal case where everything stated in public could be used in one way or another.
In spite of the consequences that are coming out, Chris has continued to maintain his innocence. That could backfire on him in the long run, if an investigation proves otherwise, as he will have to contend with the fact that he was misleading an investigation.
And given that three women have come forward, with no knowledge of knowing if that number will increase, it is certainly a very precarious position for Chris.
In response, Chris has maintained: “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.”
