Since becoming the first ever TBS Champion by defeating Ruby Soho, Jade Cargill has been on a whole other level. With a perfect 26-0 record to her name, and her best match yet coming recently against Anna Jay – we’re finally seeing Cargill put all the pieces together. She’s been one of AEW’s biggest developmental projects since her debut, and this means lot’s of backstage help – including from some legends of the industry.
Jade Cargill Has Been Working With Bryan Danielson
While speaking with Fightful following last nights successful defence of the TBS Championship against Julia Hart – Jade Cargill would shed some light on who has been helping her improve. Her base skills came from QT Marshall in the Nightmare Factory, which likely explains her improved chemistry with the likes of Anna Jay. However, with the locker room of AEW – help is around every corner if you’re looking for it.
“Another person that helps me out is Dustin Rhodes. He is a tremendous trainer too. Obviously, these people come from years of experience and lately, I’ve been working with Bryan Danielson, so, I’m 10 months in and I’m working with a legend. I am forever floored, I am humbled, I am grateful to work for these people that come with so much recognition and have contributed so much to the community of wrestling. So, I’m thankful, I’m ready, I have the best coaches out there. I’m 10 months in, so the sky’s the limit, baby.”
Undefeated Streak Could Last All Of 2022
When it comes to people to learn from, you don’t get better than Bryan Danielson. Since arriving in AEW, everyone has been reminded just how good Danielson is – with his matches against Kenny Omega, Eddie Kingston, Minoru Suzuki and Hangman Page being among the best of 2021. Jade Cargill is smart to get advice from the likes of Danielson, and possibly a reason why her strikes have looked so much better lately.
Fans have still been harsh on Jade Cargill despite her recent improvements. Regardless, she isn’t going anywhere in AEW – expect up. We are likely to see her undefeated streak last through 2022, atleast until Full Gear in November. It remains unclear who will get the boost from finally defeating Cargill – or if she will even remain a heel by this point.
