Brian recently broke the news that he would potentially become a father once again, which is exactly what Sharna was hoping for, given that she had spoken extensively about the thought of starting a family with Brian.
While that may have been the case, the very fact of the matter is that Megan did not see it coming. After all, Brian already has his hands full by virtue of the fact that he does share three children with Megan, which involves extensive co-parenting duties.
A source said: “Megan was surprised to hear the news about Brian and Sharna expecting. Megan also doesn’t put much thought into what her ex is up to.”
This is entirely understandable given that Megan will want to ensure that Brian will still do his bit for their children. It is no secret that Megan and Brian’s split had ended in a bitter manner, with the pair exchanging shots over their approach towards their kids.
But with the introduction of Sharna into Brian’s life, that has now seemed to have gone away. And this is something that Megan will be hoping to keep this way.
The source added: “She cares the most about Brian being a father to their boys and being there for them.” One person who was not shocked by the news was none other than Sharna herself.
She had spoken about how her and Brian were thinking about having a child, with the only thing to be resolved was the timing. After all, with it being such a huge commitment, the last thing that they wanted to do was rush into things.
In a prior statement, Sharna remarked: “Just because we’re in love doesn’t mean it’s for sure that we’re going to make it to the kids stage.
“We hope so. We hope it’s endgame. We want it to be endgame, but both of us can’t promise those things early on, especially to [his] kids.”
