Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and tonight’s going to be an interesting one as Brock Lesnar begins another reign as WWE Champion, and we’re sure MVP will have something to say about that since Bobby Lashley didn’t get a chance to defend his title.
If we’re right, then Lashley won’t be on tonight as he’s “injured” and it should lead to some interesting storylines heading into WrestleMania.
Maybe a Fatal 4 Way for the WWE and Universal titles with Lashley and Seth Rollins? We’ll find out what’s next as we deal with the Elimination Chamber aftermath tonight.
We’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST showtime to kick WWE Raw Live Results into gear.
Segment 1
Brock Lesnar was introduced as the new WWE Heavyweight Champion and Paul Heyman came out and told him he’ll face Bobby Lashley on Saturday March 5 at Madison Square Garden against Bobby Lashley and Lesnar won’t make it to WrestleMania as champion.
Lesnar informed Heyman he’ll be at Smackdown to introduce himself to Roman Reigns.
Segment 2
Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis) vs. Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford)
The action came fast after an initial exchange of holds between Ford and Gable, and with everyone on the floor, Dawkins his a dive to take them all out as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
The action picked up when Dawkins tagged in, but Otis took him out against the barricade. Ford tried to slam Otis, but he lost his balance and Otis landed on top of him for the pin, with Gable holding onto Ford’s leg.
Segment 4
Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode
Ciampa started off controlling most of the action against Ziggler and Roode, then held the ropes down for Balor to his a dive on them as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
This was a good back and forth that ended way too early for our liking when Ciampa caught Roode coming off the middle rope with a knee, then a sunset flip for the win.
Segment 6
The Miz introduced Logan Paul as his partner at Wrestlemania, then Miz took Rey Mysterio out with a Skull Crushing Finale, and Paul followed suit by doing the same to Dominik Mysterio.
Segment 7
Rhea Ripley vs. Nikki ASH
Ripley dominated Nikki and hit a Riptide for the win. Can we please move on from this feud now?
Segment 8
We got an encore showing of the Undertaker‘s tribute video to celebrate his career and entrance into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before WrestleMania.
Segment 9
Damian Priest vs. Shelton Benjamin w/Cedric Alexander
It was nice to see Benjamin allowed to put up a fight unlike in recent memory, but it wasn’t enough as Priest hit a chokeslam and the Reckoning for the win.
Priest then said next week he wants to face a world championship caliber opponent, and Finn Balor came out to accept.
Segment 10
Reggie apologized to Dana Brooke and called a ref to the ring. He laid down and kicked out twice, so Brooke kissed him to pin him the third time, and then they took off into the crowd with Tamina giving chase.
Segment 11
Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch exchanged barbs with Lynch eventually calling herself the victim because the fans turned on her after he quick and easy win over Belair.
Belair tried to get their match now, but Doudrop came out to face her in their scheduled match.
Segment 12
Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop
The match started pretty even, but Lynch stole the show early on commentary with her griping about her opponents making her be the bad guy.
Belair sent Doudrop to the floor and hit a crossbody, then jawed at Lynch. Doudrop took advantage and hit her own crossbody as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
This was a pretty good match Belair won with a KOD despite Doudrop holding onto the ropes and the ref looking confused and not counting. Something tells us there was a twist there.
Segment 14
Edge gave an impassioned speech about how he needs WrestleMania and vice versa, then challenged someone in the locker room to face him so he can make them a legend.
Segment 15
RK-Bro (randy Orton, Riddle) vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens)
The match started off pretty fast with Owens and Riddle going back and forth, and things escalated when Owens took a suplex onto the announce table meant for Rollins, then Rollins sent Orton overt he announcers with a shoulder through the ropes as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was a great back and forth that ended with some awesome teamwork between Rollins and Owens as Rollins hit the Stomp on Orton on the floor.
Back in the ring, Riddle took a Buckle Bomb from Rollins, a stunner from Owens, and the a Stomp from Rollins for the pin.
Because they won, Owens and Riddle will face Alpha Academy and RK-Bro in a Triple Threat match for the tag titles in two weeks.
We may have been wrong about Lashley, but the WWE found a way to sneak in yet another triple threat for a title.
This was a pretty decent show that we really enjoyed. They had good pacing overall and kept things flowing.
What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Resutls. We had an awesome time hanging out and can’t wait for next time.
See you then!
