But, last month, an insider spoke to The Sun about how the couple considered the “idea about putting the brakes on their romance as traveling so much and being apart is proving tough.”

In the past weeks, the couple that hardly spent a minute apart has not been seen together. Dua has been recording her album in Los Angeles while Anwar has been alone in New York. Anwar, who is Gigi and Bella, the supermodels’ little brother, made a statement in a recent Instagram post, “guiding my steps, allowing me to learn to be happy with myself.”

The couple, when they started dating two years ago, moved in together. Last year, they were together the whole lockdown– they even marked their first anniversary. Dua posted an old picture of them together with the caption, “nothing sweeter than 365 days joint at the hip with you,” and inserted a red heart.
This year, they celebrated Halloween together, where they shared pictures of them in their costumes; Anwar had captioned a picture, “I have never been good at Halloween but this year was fun and I carved a pumpkin scared some kids that wanted candy, bash may have put a trick in the bowl.”

Also, Dua had spoken recently in an interview with Rolling stone that, “I’m very comfortable in the relationship, more than any others” she said, “wake up around 9:00, 9:30, shower, get dressed, have a bit of breakfast, take the dog out on a really nice long walk, maybe do some yoga, make some lunch, hang out, watch a movie; play with the animals.”
Neither the 26-year-old singer nor the 22-year-old model has said anything about the rumor, even though they are still very active on social media.
