In more DaBaby news, a video showing him sucker-punching the newest artist on his Billion Dollar Baby label—and the attack was caught on video.
DaBaby Swings on Newest Signing Wisdom Backstage at South Carolina Show
The clip was shot on Friday, April 22, 2022 backstage at the Columbia, SC Spring Jam 2022 concert. Also on the bill were Kodak Black and a reunion of hip-hop duo Boosie and Webbie among others. In the video, DaBaby—wearing a yellow shirt with a blue hat and shoes—is shown walking down the hallway. Nothing looks amiss at that point.
Chilling on the wall is a larger man in all black with a chain around his neck–Wisdom. He appears to be minding his business but when DaBaby walks past him, spins around, and swings on him, he tanks two punches and returns with swings of his own.
DaBaby, the shorter of the two men, is able to avoid any actual damage it seems. Some observers said that Wisdom connected with a swing and left DaBaby with jelly legs. Others have said that it’s stabilizing technique. It seems as though it depends on if you’re a fan of the Blame It on Baby artist or praying for his downfall.

What everyone agrees with is that Wisdom tanked those punches which did little to stop him from reacting. Also, his reaction to the attack was quick as if he knew some f**kery was afoot but couldn’t detect where it was coming from.
After all, why would he suspect his new boss and label mate? That is unless the two of them had some sort of simmering tension prior to or at the event. Before it could become worse, security and bystanders separated the two. It’s unknown what provoked the attack but Wisdom didn’t press charges against the “Popstar” rapper.
