Pink delivered a scathing message to those in favor of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade, and she doesn’t seem to care if she loses fans in the process. Not only did the singer take aim at individuals who are anti-abortion, she also went after those who have a difference of opinion when it comes to race and gay rights. Pink, who’s real name is Alecia Moore, took to Twitter to vent her frustrations while encouraging people who don’t share her views to stop listening to her music.
“Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay persons business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F—ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN,” she tweeted, before adding, “AND ALSO F— RIGHT OFF. We good?” While Pink’s anger towards the Supreme Court Justices is shared with millions of people across the country, not everyone shares the same beliefs and a comment by another Twitter user seemingly sent Pink even further over the edge.
Pink GOES OFF On Supporters Of Overturning Roe v Wade, Demands ‘‘Never F—ing Listen To My Music Again’
“Have never been with a woman that aborted my child. My wife & I saved our grandson from deletion by providing our complete support for our son & his girlfriend, best thing we’ve ever done,” wrote the Twitter user, who appears to be an older male.
But Pink wasn’t having any of it and quickly fired back, “I’m so glad you HAD THE CHOICE TO DECIDE WHAT WAS RIGHT FOR YOU, SIR. Must be nice.” In a separate tweet, Pink went on to thank Olivia Rodrigo and Lily Allen, who dedicated the song ‘F–k You’ to all five of the Supreme Court Justices who voted to overturn Roe v Wade.
Pink still was not done firing off on Twitter just yet. “And to all of you sad, old white men asking me if I still make music. I realize you’re out of touch- so ask your kids…. Oh wait- you can’t. They hate you,” she wrote. She further tweeted out a string of expletive-filled rants while combatting several Twitter users who disagreed with her stance, saying, “Today I am a woman that you feel the need to belittle for your cause. Does this make you feel powerful? “Man in suit belittles woman because he’s afraid of her power.” Original”.
