Cardi B let her fans know in no uncertain terms that they were not going to be getting too close to her.

The musician just so happened to be performing in London, UK on Friday, 8th July 2022. And it was during the course of her performance at the Wireless Festival that the fans got a little too excited to say the least.
In the video here, we can see that Cardi is performing on stage. And as the song comes to an end, it appears that the crowd are getting too close to her to the point where they touch her.
In response, Cardi has decided enough is enough as she hits out at them with her microphone in the hope of warding them off.
It is not exactly clear if a member of the crowd had touched her in an inappropriate way, but one thing for sure is that Cardi was not going to tolerate it. And yet, from the video, we can see that her security did not intervene.
This would indicate two things: First of all, there was no serious danger of anything happening to Cardi. Secondly, it could equally be viewed that Cardi was capable of handling the situation by herself.
And with the incident over, it does not appear that anybody got hurt, as who knows what could have happened on another day had things gotten out of control. The fans on social media did not blame Cardi for her reaction.
People were of the view that anything could have happened, which is why she was within her rights to defend herself. One person wrote: “Umm what was she supposed to do ? Possibly get attacked?”
While another person stated: “So you’re telling me if you’re on stage and someone’s pulling your wig you’re gonna just sit there ?”
