Commissioner Mullins would forward the text and news of a potential drug sale to the Flagler Sheriff’s Office. The Special Investigations Unit was mobilized and managed to trace the number back to Jack Edward Fisher (18). Mullins was asked to set up a deal with the teen in Palm Coast, Florida.
As expected, he showed up and was arrested after going over to an undercover car for the sale. Deputies found a bag with 3.17 grams of fentanyl which officials have said is enough to kill 1,585 people.
Fisher was arrested and charged with felony possession of fentanyl and unlawful use of a two-way device. Of the arrest Sheriff Rick Staly said:
“I thank Commissioner Mullins for immediately reporting this poison peddler. His cooperation allowed our SIU detectives to arrange the buy-bust and get this dangerous drug off the streets.”
