Aaron Carter’s representatives have backed Hilary Duff’s stance in slamming publisher Ballast Books for going ahead with their plans to publish his posthumous memoir.
Aaron Carter’s Representatives Back Hilary Duff For Bashing Publisher’s Plan To Release His Posthumous Memoir
According to reports, the memoir entitled ‘Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story of an Incomplete Life,’ is set to be published on Tuesday, 15th November 2022. That is clearly a very controversial decision since that would make it only 10 days since his death.
Not only that, but the authorities have yet to confirm an official cause of death with the family only knowing that Carter was found in a bathtub. That has naturally caused outrage which has been backed up by Carter’s team.
In an official statement on behalf of the deceased, a representative said the following: “We as Aaron’s management would like to thank Hilary Duff for her statement regarding the book that is set to be released.
“This is a time for mourning and reflection not heartless money grabs and attention seeking. We would ask the parties responsible to remove the aforementioned content.”
Hilary was very vocal about how this approach was an attempt to make money out of a terrible ordeal. This was understandable since there were many people affected by the death.
Aaron’s fiancée, Melanie Martin, has been left to look after their son, Prince, who was born just last year. In addition, the fact that the book will allegedly touch upon Hilary’s dealings with Carter also did not sit well with claims they had lost their virginity at a hotel.
In some comments at the time, Hilary remarked: “To water down Aaron’s life story to what seems to be unverified click-bait for profit is disgusting.
“In no way do I condone shedding any light on what is so obviously an uninformed, heartless, money grab.” It is a very tough time for the Carter family, which is why they should be allowed to deal with their grievances privately.
