Jay Leno has spoken out following his hospitalization after his car caught fire.
Jay Leno Speaks Out Following Hospitalisation With Face Burns As Car Caught Fire-‘I Am OK’
Reports indicate that one of Leno’s cars that were in his garage had caught fire. This resulted in the left side of his face suffering from burns, which required hospitalization on Sunday, 13th November 2022.
This required the star to miss out on an engagement at the Financial Brand Forum 2022 which had been on course to take place on the same day as the hospitalization.
But for all the concerns that were coming his way, Leno wanted to let everybody know in no uncertain terms that he would get back to his usual self.
In his comments, he said: “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am OK. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
This is welcome news, especially since there was not a lot of clarity over the exact nature of the injuries when Leno pulled out of the forum. The organization had allegedly received an email to inform them that the star would not be attending.
However, the email was not conclusive except for the fact that it was a medical emergency. As such, there were question marks over whether or not it was very serious.
In some prior comments at the time, a representative on behalf of the forum stated the following: “His family was not able to provide us very many details.
“There was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling. All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight.”
The fans on social media were delighted to see Leno looking in better spirits. And as a result, they sent him some very warm words indeed. One person wrote: “Jay, May God heal you with help of doctors. Take care! God Bless!”
