Matt Damon has revealed that George Clooney once excreted inside a cat litter box as a prank.
Matt Damon Recalls George Clooney Excreting In His Friend’s Cat Litter Box
The comments were made as part of the actor honouring Clooney at the 45th Kennedy Center Honours that take place every year. The event was designed to pay homage to Clooney’s work that had an impact on American TV and culture.
While that may have been the case, Damon decided to instead reveal a rather embarrassing story. And in the process, it drew some laughter from those around them.
In his comments, Damon said: “A number of past Kennedy Center honorees have certainly been movie stars in that classic sense — actors with class and sophistication: Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck. And then I think of George, a man who defecated in Richard Kind’s kitty litter box as a joke.”
This was clearly not one of Clooney’s finest moments, however, it is not something that he has shied away from talking about in the past. Clooney had lived with Kind as a roommate during their earlier acting days.
Then he decided to play the prank by defecating in the litter box and waited for Kind to come back home. And once he went inside the bathroom, it is fair to say that he had a lot to say.
In some prior comments at the time, Clooney remarked: “All of a sudden, you hear, ‘Oh, my God — Kitty!” The fans on social media were not impressed with this disclosure. A large proportion of people felt this was in poor taste.
Meanwhile, others made it clear that this was not something that should have been said publicly. One person wrote: “Gross, vulgar, not funny at all … why do we need to know that,” while another person stated: “A real pig. That’s not a prank it’s a sign of mental illness.”
