One of the bigger names of the All Elite Wrestling women’s division will soon be finding her way back to the company, as Thunder Rosa starts her return from injury. However – don’t expect her to instantly be lacing up her boots for a major return match.
Thunder Rosa Will Be Back On The Road Soon
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, the topic of AEW would come up. Thunder Rosa would reveal that she will soon by on the road again – but isn’t intending on returning to the ring just yet.
“Since we’re talking about AEW, I’m probably going to be coming back on the road pretty soon. Not to wrestle, but we’re going to be out at AEW and showing face and being around all this stuff. It’s going to be nice to be around everyone and see how things unfold.”
Her AEW Women’s World Championship Reign Was Cut Short Due To Injury
Rosa has been out of action since August 2022 – with her reign as AEW Women’s World Champion ending as a result. Toni Storm won the Interim Championship at All Out 2022, with her reign lasting 76 days before being defeated by Jamie Hayter at Full Gear 2022. Following this, due to Rosa being not close to a return – both Hayter & Storm would be named as lineal AEW Women’s World Champions. ‘
Once Rosa is able to return to the ring – she will undoubtedly have a title shot waiting for her, despite no longer having the Unification match to look forward to. Given the recent improvements in in-ring action in the AEW women’s division, Rosa will need to return better than ever to fit in – but Rosa has never shied away from hard work in the past.
It seems likely that Rosa will have her return at PPV, potentially at AEW Revolution 2023. Will you be excited to see Thunder Rosa return to AEW in 2023? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
