Todd Chrisley, who was found guilty of fraud and will spend a long time in prison, has talked about many of the false things that were said about him during his high-profile trial.
On Thursday, December 28, the 53-year-old patriarch Todd Chrisley, co-host of the podcast “Chrisley Confessions” with his son Chase Chrisley, addressed allegations against him before his sentencing, including those made by his former business partner Mark Braddock that the two had an affair.
Todd Chrisley Addresses Affair With Former Business Associate, Shuts Down Gay Rumors: “There’s Better To Be Had”
“What’s insulted me the most is that, out of all these 54 years, for me to finally be accused of being with a man, it would be someone who looked like Mark Braddock,” Referring to Braddock’s testimony, the reality star made the sarcastic comment. “A toad. Someone that looks like a thumb. Someone who says he’s only had sex with his wife and me.”
Todd added, “Let me tell you something. I could understand if you’d have had sex with me, it would [make] you crazy. I get that. There have been many who have been [dick-mitized] by your daddy.” The property mogul dismissed Braddock’s remarks as “wishful thinking.”
Todd said, “That is the one thing that is the most insulting,” “To say that I couldn’t pull something better than that — there’s better to be had by Todd Chrisley than that.” When Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley were on trial for fraud last year, Braddock testified against them. The businessman claims he had an affair with Todd and then assisted the TV star in committing the offenses for which he was found guilty in June 2022.
For his side, Todd has refuted Braddock’s allegations and accusations. The native of Georgia and Julie, 50, was indicted in 2019 and convicted guilty of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy. After a trial that lasted five months, jurors handed down sentences of seven and twelve years of imprisonment, respectively, for Julie and Todd. They’re both due at the prison by the end of the month.
Julie has spoken publicly since their incarceration about the wisdom she gained from the experience. In November 2022, she revealed on her daughter Savannah Chrisley’s “Unlocked” podcast, “I think about the situation that we’re dealing with right now, and I’m thinking about I’ve never gone out here and hurt a soul,” “I have never gone out here and intentionally tried to do anything that I wasn’t supposed to do and look where I’m standing right now. How is that right?”
