Jade Cargill has been unstoppable from the moment she made her AEW debut, yet to taste the bitter sting of pinfall or submission. Tonight, the TBS Champion gives the ladies of the United States a break from being crushed by her – and instead takes aim at Canadian names.
She’s made an open challenge for anyone from Canada to come and take a chance to become TBS Champion. Considering the depth of talent across the country, Cargill might have finally bitten off more than she can chew.
Taya Valkyrie Strikes Fear Into Heart Of Jade Cargill
Nicole Matthews would be the one to step up – a 17 year veteran of the industry. Cargill would quickly send Matthews off the ropes for the Pump Kick before nailed Jaded for the win. Cargill simply does not get paid by the hour – and is now 54-0 in AEW.
Renee Paquette would ask what kind of competition that Jade is looking for, before being shoved into the corner. Jade would ask if this is all Canada had to offer, and Taya Valkyrie would answer the call – one of the biggest free agents in women’s wrestling right now.
La Wera Loca would get into the face of Jade, and Jade would flee the ring – leaving Leyla Grey to take Jaded from Valkyrie – leaving this match for the future.
Powerhouse Hobbs & QT Marshall Started The Downfall Of Wardlow
When Powerhouse Hobbs was set to challenge Wardlow for the TNT Championship – few would have expected QT Marshall to be pivotal in the finish.
The former leader of The Factory, Marshall has now linked himself to Hobbs. Tonight, we see the debut of QTV – as we get an idea of just what Marshall has been up to behind the scenes ahead of returning to join Hobbs last week.
Marshall refuses to give biased facts, but knows that someone broke into Wardlows car and stole his stuff last week. No one knew who did this, but Marshall certainly did – as Aaron Solo did the deed. Wardlow shouldn’t be surprised with having things stolen, MJF stole all his momentum last week.
They’d rip into him calling him a second rate Batista, and Hobbs welcomed him to Will’s World. There’s a special TNT Open Challenge this week on Rampage, but it won’t be Wardlow – because they stole his passport too. Who will challenge Powerhouse Hobbs first?
