WWE Monday Night Raw is on tonight. You will be able to see the results below as well as links to recaps to each segment.
Segment 1: Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman open up the show. Heyman says that we’re in uncertain times right now, and we could all use some certainty. So he offers the certainty that is Brock Lesnar. Explains that McIntyre can do whatever he wants but he will never be prepared to take the WWE Championship from Brock. Says that God’s prayer line would just come up busy for him. Lesnar will remain the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE heavyweight champion of the world. They then aired the Lesnar/Rollins/Cena 2015 Royal Rumble triple threat match.
Segment 2: AJ Styles and the OC come out to the stage and once again start insulting the Undertaker, bringing up his real name of Mark Calloway and his wife Michelle McCool. They talk up how he’s been tweeting and making Instagram posts, even flashing up a video of Taker and McCool in a pool with a tiger. AJ claims he wants to bring the Deadman back and thusly challenges him to a Boneyard Match.
Segment 3: In the first match of the night, Angel Garza and Andrade faced off with Ricochet and Cedric Alexander. The former will be challenging the Street Profits for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania. In what is thus far pretty easily the best WWE empty arena match yet, Zelina Vega’s boys of course got the victory. Street Profits then ran them off.
Segment 4: Still in the ring after fighting off Andrade and Angel Garza, the Street Profits then took on NXT’s Shane Thorne and Brendan Vink in a non-title match. After a little bit of trouble the champs got the win. In a vignette, R-Truth sprang from the trunk of a car to roll up Riddick Moss and take the 24/7 Championship.
Segment 5: Shayna Baszler has a sit-down interview, says she wants the WWE Raw Women’s Championship because she wants to destroy everyone who comes after her. Suddenly Becky Lynch jumps her from behind and attacks her with a steel chair. Aleister Black wins a quick squash match.
Segment 6: Kevin Owens calls out Seth Rollins. Rollins emerges and runs down Owens for thinking the Performance Center will give him a homefield advantage at WrestleMania. Goes on a tirade explaining that he built the Performance Center and is responsible for everyone who ever came through NXT. Goes on to talk up his WrestleMania history and how it dwarves Kevin Owens’ own track record. Tells him that he has no chance because when he’s under pressure, he’s a God. Then, they aired the Asuka/Charlotte match from WrestleMania 34.
Segment 7: Charlotte Flair runs down her Mania history and her knack for making history at the Show of Shows. WrestleMania 36 will be just another example as she becomes the first to ever win the NXT Women’s title at the event. In the closing segment, Randy Orton emerged to counter every point Edge made against him and promised to write the last chapter of his story.
