I Am Jazz Season 6 came to an end in March of 2020, so fans have not see Jazz Jennings in TV in over one year. Season 6 final episode was titled “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.” The official synopsis of the episode reads: “Jazz seeks emotional well-being at a retreat; despite being short of her goal, Noelle moves forward with her gender affirmation surgery.”
‘I Am Jazz’: TLC Announces Season 7 Premiere Date
In June 2021, TLC star, Jazz Jennings shared a bit of an update with her followers. It turns out that the reality show star was struggling with a substantial amount of weight gain and she has gained almost 100 pounds within two years.
Jazz wrote, “I suffer from binge-eating disorder, a disease in which I’m not only addicted to food, but I eat it in large quantities. My binging, along with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I’m on, has caused me to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than 2 years.”
Jazz Jennings has previously explained that sharing a photo of her weight gain was a way of holding herself accountable. She wrote, “I’m posting this photo because it’s time for me to address my weight gain and hold myself accountable. I’m ready to change my ways; I’ve been saying I’m ready to turn over a new leaf, but I’m running out of trees now.”
‘I Am Jazz’: TLC Confirms Season 7 Premiere Date
The Futon Critic has shared that Season 7 of I Am Jazz is among the shows coming to TLC in November. The official synopsis reads “With her eye on the Harvard prize, Jazz embarks on a weight loss program and throws herself into an internship with a plastic surgeon. This season also highlights the strength of the Jennings family and their bond. Jazz’s older brother Sander has found his passion in being a vocal ally for the LGBTQ+ community and considers dating a beautiful trans woman who has caught his eye. Meanwhile, Griffen enters his second year of Law School and Ari is off to Arkansas for her PH.D. And finally, as many parents can relate to, Jeanette and Greg will find themselves at home as empty nesters!”
