Due to the famous picture of Andre Young, known as Dr. Dre posing next to balloons that stated that he was divorced, “Divorced AF’ to be exact – one can conclude that the rapper’s divorce with his wife (now ex-wife), Nicole Young has been finalized and he’s pleased as punch.
This picture was initially posted by Breyon Prescott, Dr. Dre’s associate. He captioned this post on Instagram with, “Hey well my brother @drdre just told me it’s final!!! Congrats.”
Nicole Young Claims Dr. Dre Abused Her
The divorce process between Andre and Nicole is said to have been really complicated. The couple had been married for about 25 years with two children-Truly Young and Truice Young before Young filed for a divorce in June 2021.

Nicole Young had stated, in filing for the divorce that Dr. Dre had thrown her out of their house when he was alcohol-induced. She also stated that Dre had occasionally abused her and that he once held a gun to her head.
Young stated that the abuse she was subjected to now makes her suffer from PTSD-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Rapper has had a history of alleged abuse towards women. All these allegations against Dre, he denied.
Dre was also accused to have decimated her financially leaving her without representation in the case.” The Sherrif’s department was then asked to enforce the judgement.
Nicole then sought for $4.2 million to help to cover legal fees. Dre was then asked to pay $3,519,672 every year until Nicole is remarried. He’s also supposed to pay for Nicole’s health insurance. But all of these are temporary, and a final decision would be made by the judge.
The pre-nuptial that they had drawn up was disputed to still stand. Nicole claimed it was void because Dre had torn multiple copies of it, stating that he felt bad about pressuring her to sign it. Dre still stood his ground, saying the agreement still stands. Also, the rapper is now worth about $1 Billion.
