‘Counting On’ Spoilers tells us that star, Josh Duggar was on Thursday December 9, convicted on the count of receiving child pornography, and also the count possessing it. He was taken into custody after he was found guilty by the jury.
Josh, a former reality TV Star, is said to be facing up to 40 years (20 years for each count) and also fines of $250,000 for each count. His sister, Jinger Duggar and her hubby, Jeremy Vuolo have spoken up on this issue.

In a statement that Jinger put out on Instagram, speaking for herself and husband, Jeremy Vuolo. The statement described that the couple felt saddened by the events but also that they are “praying for further justice.

Jinger and Jeremy, who are estranged from Parents Jim Bob and Parents said in their statement that, “We are saddened for the victims of horrific child abuse. We are also saddened for Josh’s family, his wife and precious children. We are saddened by the dishonor this has brought upon Christ’s name.”
They stated that Josh’s actions, due to the fact that he claims to be a Christian, may cause people to doubt a Savior whose follower is a hypocrite.
The statement continued, “We are grateful that God is a God of justice who cares for the innocent and helpless… He especially loves Children, who are among the most vulnerable.” The Duggar Family became famous when they featured in TLC 19 kids and counting.
It featured how Jim Bob and Michelle raised their children, homeschooling them too. But the show was cancelled in 2015 when news of Josh molesting kids– including his sisters got out.
‘Counting On’: More Crisis For The Reality TV Family
Jim Bob and Michelle posted their statement about the issue on their website, saying that the entire ordeal has been very grievous. They stated that their “hearts and prayers are with anyone that has ever been harmed through Child Sexual Abuse Materials.”
Also, during the process, Jana Duggar who is the eldest daughter was charged with endangering the life of a minor-this was on September 9 and her attorney, on her behalf pleaded not guilty.
The defense attorney said that even though the team (Justin Gelfred, lan Murphy, Travis Story) respects the verdict given by the Jury, they still plan to appeal.
“We appreciate the jury’s lengthy deliberations; we respect the jury’s verdict and we intend to appeal.”
