I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.

Tonight; the debut of NXT on USA Network! This one’s a long time coming and it’s sure to be a special show. First half on USA, second on the WWE Network. We have a North American title match, a brutal street fight and a Fatal Four Way match to determine the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Women’s Championship! Like a mini-TakeOver all on it’s own, really. My name is Jordan Huie and I’m happy to be here to recap this show for you all! Watch this space! We first see Triple H in a vignette. He explains there are…

SmackDown Live time! Jordan Huie of the Overtimer coming at you with some recaption yet again, and for once we’re opening with a match! The New Day vs. Randy Orton & The Revival Big E gets an early overhead belly to belly sending Dash flying. Out on the apron, E gets his big splash in, brutal stuff. Xavier and Dawson tagged in, short heat segment begins but Xavier quickly chops his way out of it. Whip to the corner, tag to Kofi. Double axe handle off the top to Dawson’s arm. Dawson manages to tag to Orton, and the two…

Jordan Huie of The Overtimer here, with another night of recaption. Tonight our crosshairs are on Monday Night Raw, where we’ll finally crown the King Of The Ring! As always, watch this space for results! Seth Rollins opens the show. He had quite the night last night, losing the tag titles, retaining the Universal title but being attacked by the Fiend to close the show. Rollins recounts that, giving the show a mini-recap. A chant of Yowie-Wowie hits as he gets to the Fiend. He says as he was laying there choking half to death, the last thing he saw…

Hello loyal readers of The Overtimer! I am once again Jordan Huie, and I’ve got another night of recaption awaiting you all! This time we’re here for Clash of Champions 2019 where 10 titles will be on the line! And also a murder case might be solved, who knows? You can keep tabs on this page to follow along with the action. In the meantime, check out my preview and predictions here! Kickoff show is underway and, interestingly, Kofi Kingston and Big E are being interviewed together, no Xavier Woods. He’s out due to an attack from The Revival… ah,…

Welp, another WWE PPV is oncoming… that means a recap from me and a preview before that, so let’s get to it! Sadly the King of the Ring finals, long advertised to be part of this event, have been pulled as of this past week, and will instead be taking place on Raw the night after. Still, we have a multitude of title matches going on so let’s not waste anymore time! Triple Threat For The WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Drew Gulak (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo vs. Lince Dorado This will of course be an exciting, fun match that the Charlotte,…

More recap action going on now, not late this time around! SmackDown in MSG! We open with the gong hitting for The Undertaker! And five minutes later, he’s in the ring with the mic. He says he wanted to take a minute to absorb all this. For the past 30 years, he’s considered MSG to be his home. He doesn’t know how many times he’ll get to come home anymore, which gets a quiet boo. But there’s one thing he wants everyone to remember about this place. The titans that were born here. The legends that made their…

I’m making a habit of starting these late, but here we are again for another recap of Raw and an important one. This show emanates from Madison Square Garden, the first in a real long time. We begin with the contract signing with Steve Austin. The OC of course interrupt and AJ and Austin have a fun war of words. Eventually Austin patiently moves the table and allows Rollins and Strowman to attack the OC. They run off Gallows and Anderson, leaving AJ in the ring alone with Austin. They really milk it as the crowd rises to their feet,…

Sorry, late again today but the recap is on. SmackDown Live! We start the show with Charlotte confronting Bayley, but Sasha Banks makes her way out. Sensing an attack, Charlotte attacks Bayley but swiftly falls to a double team. The two take her out with a chair as the crowd chants ‘One more time’ and that’s a pretty easy to predict response there. Just like Becky last year, turning heel and particularly attacking Charlotte is a very babyface move. Afterwards Bayley’s same old innocent music hits which is pretty funny. King Of The Ring Quarterfinals: Ali vs. Elias Elias does…

Running a bit late here tonight but the recaption (recap action) is still on! We begin with the contract signing between Strowman and Rollins for their universal title match, with Michael Cole presiding. But the OC interrupt proceedings. AJ mocks Strowman getting a shot just for looking at Rollins’ title, joking that someone may well glance at his US title and get a shot too. They also throw a jab at Roode and Ziggler getting a tag title shot when they’re not even a team. AJ and his lackeys enter the ring, with Styles threatening Cole to a hilariously huge…

And so it all comes down to this. Today is the day. AEW All Out is but hours away. And we have only one match left to preview. The biggest of them all. History will be made, one way or the other. (Here’s our latest preview.) It’s among the most important decisions AEW’s EVPs will ever make. Do we go with youth and try to make a new star? Or do we go with a legend and ride along with a ready-made icon? Those are our options… AEW World Championship: Hangman Page vs. Chris Jericho It’s easy to question if…
