AEW Dynamite Recap & Results:
Segment 1: Incredibly, our opening match is the 30-minute Ironman match between PAC and Kenny Omega! PAC pulled out one dirty trick after another, nailing Kenny with a chair to get DQ’d in the first fall, so that he could then take the second with a Black Arrow. At the end, PAC had Omega in the Brutalizer for more than two minutes but he survived it to end with a 1-1 finish – however, in Sudden Death Overtime, Kenny got the win with the One Winged Angel!
Segment 2: PAC was being interviewed after the match, and surprisingly Orange Cassidy came to confront him, only to be laid out with a forearm. Then, in a Trios match, Jurassic Express took on the Inner Circle. In the end, Sammy wanted to use the loaded sock to get the win but Darby Allin appeared to take it away, and Jungleboy got the victory with a Snap Rana!
Segment 3: In a tag team match, the Best Friends – Trent Baretta and Chuck Taylor – defeated The Butcher and The Blade, with Orange Cassidy able to stop the interference of the Bunny this time around. It was then announced that at AEW Revolution, Cassidy would face PAC!
Segment 4: In a fatal four way match, Hikaru Shida defeated Shanna, Big Swole & Yuka Sakazaki. Then the Dark Order announced that at Revolution, they will be facing SCU.
Segment 5: JR sits down with the Elite ahead of the Young Bucks vs. Kenny Omega & Hangman Page tag title match at Revolution, which turns quite tense in a hurry.
Segment 6: The official weigh-in between Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley turns into a wild brawl involving Dustin Rhodes, Darby Allin and the whole Inner Circle, Jericho gets busted open but hits him with a Paradigm Shift onto the scale to leave him laying!
