Ladies and gentlemen, we have another episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on tap here tonight! Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to give you the live recap and results from the show after the end of each segment!
Segment 1: Randy Orton opened the show to talk about how despite his best efforts, Matt Hardy could not get cleared for the No Holds Barred match that was supposed to go down between the two of them tonight. Matt interrupted to say he’s here regardless and continued to demand an explanation for what he did to Edge. Randy eventually attacked Matt once again and this time went a step further from the Conchairto, putting Matt’s head against the steel steps before smashing him in the head with a chair twice!
Segment 2: In a battle between two men who have been on lengthy winning streaks, Aleister Black took on Erick Rowan. Ultimately, Black got the win after being given a rare test.
Segment 3: Charlotte appears to deliver a promo, basically an excuse to show footage of her attacking Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Portland and accepting her challenge to go after her at WrestleMania. Then, Riddick Moss defeated R-Truth and Mojo Rawley in a triple threat match to retain the 24/7 Championship.
Segment 4: Drew McIntyre came out and was confronted by Paul Heyman who of course promised victories for Brock Lesnar, both over Ricochet at Super Show-Down and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. He proceeded to introduce MVP, Drew’s opponent for the night who berated Drew for a cheap shot only to start the match with a cheap shot of his own. However McIntyre swiftly took him out afterwards.
Segment 5: Becky Lynch comes out to cut a promo on Shayna Baszler after she bit the back of her neck off last week. She warns her that she’s gone through the best of the best because she felt had to, but she’ll go after her because she wants to. Dumps out money, paying the fine she’ll get for what she does to Shayna in advance. Shayna Baszler appears on the tron to promise victory at Elimination Chamber, which will send her to WrestleMania where she’ll face Becky.
Segment 6: In a match Lana described as a double date, Bobby Lashley & Angel Garza defeated Humberto Carrillo & Rusev.
Segment 7: A budding feud intensifies as Natalya takes on Kairi Sane and has to combat interference from Asuka. Ultimately, Sane took the count-out win after Asuka clipped Nattie with a roundhouse kick.
Segment 8: Seth Rollins’ sermon follows and he spends it talking about how Phase One was completed last week, and Phase Two will see them seek out the weak, rehabilitate them if they can and eradicate them if they must. Kevin Owens and the Viking Raiders then run them off.
Segment 9: AJ Styles makes his return to Raw along with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, he makes a claim that he’ll challenge the WWE Champion at WrestleMania and lists off several potential names it could be. Ricochet appears and they bicker over whether he has a chance. He challenges AJ Styles to a match but gets Karl Anderson instead, and gets the win.
Segment 10: The main event comes with Kevin Owens & the Viking Raiders taking on Murphy & AOP. The match ended in DQ when Seth Rollins attacked, only for the Street Profits to make the save.
