Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) have stayed close to home. Aside from a few taping sessions up in the Nightmare Factory in Georgia, AEW Dynamite & PPV events like All Out and Double or Nothing have taken place at their homebase of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

There, they’ve been able to safely run shows, and slowly fill the open air arena with an increasing number of paying fans, with their peak being the Brodie Lee Tribute show a few weeks back. We saw some rumors a few weeks back that they would be moving to Miami for a change of scenery, before choosing to stay put.

If It Ain’t Broke, Why Would AEW Fix It?

This news comes from Cassidy Hynes of, which falls in line with AEW moving a scheduled Dynamite in Newark, NJ from February 24th all the way back to September 15th. Any wrestling brand going back to a travel schedule before 2022 is more optimistic about the world than I ever will be.

AEW might have realized this, and are staying in Jacksonville until further notice, which is just a smart move? The Khan family owns the arena, it’s becoming iconic to the brand, and it ensures talent aren’t having to drive around the country for shows. Once things are back to something we can call normal, it would be amazing to see AEW go back on the road, and they clearly will, but until then, Daily’s Place is perfect.

Upcoming Big Shows

Their next big event will be Beach Break in early February, followed by their next PPV of Revolution in March. We have one confirmed match for Beach Break, that being Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa, and there is hope of Kenny Omega defending his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley at Revolution.

Are you getting bored of seeing all AEW shows from the same arena? Would a move elsewhere increase your enjoyment of the shows? Are they better off staying put until things improve? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
