Sometimes when it rains, it pours for people. Recently, we got the news of Ring of Honor releasing all of it’s talent from their contracts, alongside them not running shows from Final Battle 2021 to SuperCard of Honor in April 2022. We don’t even know if that show will happen, everything has been left so uncertain. This especially impacts names like Max The Impaler, who seemed to be not signed – but paid by appearance. Max in particular has fallen on hard times, as after getting that news – they would have their car totalled in an accident.
Max The Impaler Lost Both Sources Of Income, Car Is Totaled
Taking to Twitter to let their fans know what is going on – Max would have the following to say, before asking for some help. “I was hit last night by a driver making an improper left turn. My car is totaled. I have lost both my sources of income this week (doordash). I don’t like doing this but I have no options currently.”
They would go on to plug their merch store, as well as Venmo & PayPal links. To make matters worse, they were without car insurance at the time, explaining in another tweet: “I was on my exes insurance, that was canceled without my knowledge. So I am not protected. I will be seeking legal counsel since I was not at fault.”
Fans Continue To Come Through For Wrestlers In Time Of Need
Things do seem to be going in the right direction for them however. An update would thank fans for their continued support, and they were left overwhelmed – and happy they battled past embarrassment to ask for this help. This can hopefully help them get a new set of wheels to continue wrestling and working with DoorDash.
Ring of Honor is set to run TV tapings in November and Final Battle in December, giving some chances for Max to get booked by what seemed to be their home promotion. However, help from fans is still appreciated – and their merch store is here. We here at The Overtimer hope Max is able to get back to wrecking fools in the ring soon, as they truly are special in the industry today.
