Leah Messer, who is best known for being on the hit TV show ‘Teen Mom 2’ has given fans an update about her daughter, Aliannah’s health.

Aliannah, for her part, was recently diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. This is a condition that has an impact on the way that people’s muscles function. Some of the symptoms of this condition can include frequent falls, as well as issues with walking and running.
And given that Aliannah is just 11-years-old, the family could have been forgiven for becoming overwhelmed. And yet, it seems that Aliannah is making a remarkable recovery, much to the surprise of everyone including the medical professionals.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Leah shared a video of her daughter showing just how much progress she had made.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “All great things- He sees more of an improvement than he ever has, mind & body. He said what he sees is remarkable because she seems a lot stronger.”
This is welcome news for the family especially since everything that Aliannah had been through. Her struggles were well documented on Teen Mom, to the point where Aliannah even had troubling adapting into school.
During the course of one episode, Leah had the unfortunate occurrence of receiving a phone call from Aliannah’s father, Corey Simms, outlining how he was going to take her to hospital.
And given that there were worries she may never be the same person that she was, it is truly inspiring to see Aliannah fulfill her dreams which include none other than horse riding.
Leah added: “He gave a lot of credit to her love, hard work and dedication to reaching horseback riding goals that she sets for herself.” It is great to see Aliannah overcoming this adversity.
And if she can continue to put the work in alongside her family, then there is no limit to what she can achieve. And the fans will be there to support them every step of the way to make sure that they are fine.
