On Sunday, April 3, while the Grammys Award for 2022 was ongoing, Cardi B was busy having a war with fans regarding her absence from the Awards ceremony. Cardi B, whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzár also deactivated her Twitter account to this effect.
Cardi B Fires Back At Her Fans
Fans of the 29-year-old Rapper made several tweets to express their displeasure at the Rapper’s absence at the ceremony despite her song “Up” being nominated for Best Rap Performance. One user said, “My thing is, why hype us up if you know you’re not going from the jump?”

Another said, “I bet your son wouldn’t like for you to be on you’re a-while teasing us fans and never dropping music.” These attacks, especially the ones directed at her children seemed to have aggravated the mother of two, as she responded “I hope your moms die” to the second Twitter user.
She then took to Instagram to vent. Cardi B, on an Instagram live, stated why she did not attend the Award Ceremony that was held in Las Vegas. “Why would I go to the awards for? Do I have any new music? Why would I show up with one nomination?” she asked.
Cardi then further traded words with those who had dragged her children into the drama. “That sh-t really piss the f-ck out of me. If you bring up my son, I hate you.” She said, “I wish the worst on you.”
The WAP singer then finally revealed why she was absent at the Awards ceremony, stating that she was working on new music. “I gotta prep today and I gotta prep tomorrow. So, Tuesday, I’m going far away and f-king finish the mother-king album.”
She continued, “I’m doing a red carpet soon and it’s gonna be great, but I don’t like it when mother-kers attack me to do some s-t and they call me lazy because I’m not doing it. she also clarified that’s he does not like being called lazy because she works “so mother-king much.”
