After the victory in the defamation lawsuit, the actor took to Instagram to celebrate. He shared the news and thanked his fans for their support. However, now, reports emerge that it is noticed how some celebrities had removed their likes from Johnny Depp’s celebration post on Instagram.
The ‘switching sides’ allegedly has to do with the leaking of the unsealed court documents. These documents contain some stuff that is so gross and unpleasant to read/see that even the most hardcore Depp fans are now having second thoughts.
The documents reveal that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor states that Amber Heard had never actually caused any harm to him. There are some photos that he submitted as evidence that underwent some photoshopping. And last but not least, he tried to submit some photos of completely naked Amber Heard as evidence in the trial.

In the 1st of June Instagram post, Johnny Depp thanks the judge and jury of the trial for helping him return his life. Initially, this sounded so innocent and righteous that many people liked and shared it. However, now after the documents leaked, Depp doesn’t seem as innocent as before.

In the end, the whole trial might turn up to be a massive ‘free advertisement’ for Johnny Depp. Since the beginning of the trial he has gained more than 8 million followers on Instagram solely. Trial ‘shorts’ were shared massively on social media and hashtags including his name started a new trend on Twitter.
After the verdict, Amber heard took to social media as well. She wrote – “Even somebody who is sure I’m deserving of all this hate and vitriol, even if you think that I’m lying, you still couldn’t look me in the eye and tell me that you think on social media there’s been a fair representation. You cannot tell me that you think that this has been fair.”
“I don’t blame the jury.” – Heard states. “I actually understand. He’s a beloved character and people feel they know him. He’s a fantastic actor.”
Will Depp’s support now turn into despising? Will we finally get to the truth of what exactly happened?
