The singer and actress have been hosted on an episode of the ‘Giving Back Generation’ podcast on Friday. There she made the revelation and left many fans and followers confused and disappointed that they might not see her for long on the small screens.

“I hope to get married and become a mother.” – Selena shocked her friends Raquelle Stevens and Ashley Cook, the hosts of the podcast. “Eventually, I’ll get weary of it all, so I’ll probably devote most of my life to philanthropy before I’m at peace.”
If you might ask yourself where did Selena find out that she wants to be a mother, where and how she got this call from nature she explains it all. She claims that watching her half-sister Gracie Teefey grow up made her realize that there is more to life than being professional all the time. Gomez got the feeling and there was no turning back, she knew that she wants to become a mother.
“She puts things in perspective.” – Selena explains her views on her sister. “I basically got to watch this little person grow into a human being. There’s no better feeling in the world. In a way, I feel like a mother, even though I’m not. It’s very gratifying to see that life was so simple at one time, I want to enjoy life like she enjoys life.”
Selena’s fans and followers now can be certain that they can enjoy Selena on the scene for a limited time. This is not the first time that she speaks about such plans. Back in June, when she made an appearance on the Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, she made a similar claim. She claimed that moving to Hollywood made her realize this wish. Furthermore, she claims that she is planning on having a ‘big’ family.
“I would have four kids, for sure.” – she said. “Maybe unplanned, maybe planned, maybe both. And there’s nothing wrong with the life I would have led.”
