Wardlow is not far off from being able to challenge for the TNT Championship. He’s already beaten Max Caster to advance to the Face of The Revolution Ladder Match, and considering how dominant he’s been as of late – he’s a favourite to win the match, even with the likes of Keith Lee in his way. Tonight, he would take on another proper heavyweight – as he matched up against Nick Comoroto of The Factory.
HOOK Calls The Bluff Of QT Marshall – Nick Comoroto Puts Wardlow On The Defensive
QT Marshall came out first to complain about disrespect from fans – and it’s all the fault of HOOK. Marshall tried to explain that he made HOOK into a star in the Nightmare Factory, and none of the praise belongs to Taz. He wants HOOK to come out and thank Marshall for all that work.
HOOK would actually come out, but the Cold Hearted Handsome Devil would run down the students of Marshall with ease. Without breaking a sweat, he’d embarrass The Factory without even setting a hand on Marshall.
Wardlow would still get his match with Comoroto, who threw Wardlow down with a Gutwrench Suplex. Comoroto would take a suplex over the top rope, before getting back into the ring and put Wardlow on the defensive with some clubbing blows. Wardlow would get slammed down in the middle of the ring before Comoroto hit a elbow drop.
Done playing around, Wardlow would catch Comoroto with a chokeslam. The powerbomb would follow, and it was impressive even for Wardlow. He’d set up another, and this one was even cleaner. The third led to the fourth, which ended this match.
Serena Deeb Claims Her Latest Victim
Serena Deeb has taken to only giving potential opponents five minutes of her time. If you can last in the ring with The Professor – you would have proven something special. Tonight, she doesn’t have a rookie – as Kayla Sparks is a 19 year pro – having made her debut back in 2004 for World Of Hurt Wrestling, but Deeb would treat her just like anyone else in that ring tonight.
Deeb ran down Sparks with a lariat before even taking her rope off. She’d take it off to choke sparks with it – before handing it to the referee. Some quick uppercuts would land, before Deeb put Sparks on the ropes for a spider stretch. Deeb respected the four count, and went back in on the neck while Sparks was still hanging by her knee. Serenity Lock was applied, and Deeb claimed yet another win.
Thunder Rosa Makes Her Match With Britt Baker Official
At AEW Revolution, we will see Britt Baker take on someone she’s been ducking for months now. Thunder Rosa was the victor when they met in a Lights Out match – still the most violent match in the history of the AEW Women’s division. However, after Mercedes Martinez failed to take Rosa out – there was nothing to keep her away from a title shot. The match is already set for AEW Revolution, and tonight they put ink to paper as they sign the contract for this match.
Both ladies have already read this contract, and Rosa signed first. She wants to give the fans what they want – a better champion, instead of the cheating coward that is Baker. Baker would claim that the only reason that Rosa is relevant. She acknowledges that Rosa won the Lights Out match – but who was everyone talking about afterwards? Britt Baker.
Rosa wants to be the one leading the charge, wants validation – all while realizing she can never take the spot of the pillar that is AEW. Baker built this division, all while Rosa was busy wrestling on YouTube and praying for a shot. Rosa will never be Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D – and that is what drives her insane.
Will Thunder Rosa take the AEW World Women’s Championship at AEW Revolution? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
