Segment 1: Daniel Bryan opens the show with a promo talking up how excited he is to be involved in such a unique match in nine days, a scramble up to the top of WWE Headquarters! He talks up what winning Money In The Bank did to revitalize his career back in 2011 and credits his resulting World Heavyweight Title win as the start of the Yes! Movement. He then calls out King Corbin, wanting retribution for Corbin screwing over his friend Drew Gulak last week. Corbin comes out and they argue before their match.
Segment 2: In the first match of the night, Daniel Bryan took on King Corbin. Bryan targeted his legs to try and chop down the bigger man. Corbin responded by shoving Bryan shoulder first into a post and working over the left arm. In the end, Bryan was wailing on Corbin until he fled from the ring and when Bryan pursued, Corbin threw a ladder into his face to force the disqualification. Afterwards Bryan and Corbin brawled in the ring until Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro attacked Bryan. The fight ended with Bryan being tossed from the stage right into an enormous stood-up ladder.
Segment 3: Braun Strowman makes his way out to talk how he’s going to take down Bray Wyatt when the he’s interrupted. The newest episode of the Firefly Funhouse tells the tale of the Black Sheep, how a Shepherd took the Black Sheep in only for it to abandon him one day without a word.
Segment 4: Sheamus utterly destroys Leon Ruff. The final part of the Jeff Hardy doc plays, touching on his recent injury and his return. He will be back on SmackDown next week. Sheamus overhears this and says so will he.
Segment 5: In a women’s Money In The Bank Qualifying match, Carmella defeated Mandy Rose thanks to Sonya Deville coming onto the stage to yell at her on the microphone until finally the distraction costed her. Sonya then violently attacked Mandy afterwards.
Segment 6: In a non-title match-up, the Forgotten Sons – represented by Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler in spite of what their preview graphic made it appear to be – defeated the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, the New Day.
Segment 7: In the main event of the evening, Otis Dozovic took on Dolph Ziggler in a Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match qualifier. After a long hard-fought bout, Otis got the victory.
