I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.
WWE Monday Night Raw continues. Drew McIntyre will be on the VIP Lounge later tonight. First, the IIconics come out to the ring and they both want to apologize to each other – for costing each other the match and for the slap. They talk about how they’ve come too far together. They signed their contracts together and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania. This gets applause, confusingly. But then the IIconics turn it heel mode and say they were never even allowed to defend the tag team titles, but they were overlooked and undervalued. They say…
Seth Rollins Threatens To Make Example Of Aleister Black & Humberto Carrillo | WWE Raw Results (5/25/2020)
WWE Monday Night Raw continues. Tonight, the Viking Raiders and the Street Profits are going to… go… golfing. I know, I know, contain your excitement. Meanwhile Seth Rollins has Rey Mysterio’s mask backstage. He smiles into the camera and says tonight is a night of celebration because the Monday Night Messiah is here and he is better than he has ever been. That’s all thanks to one man, Rey Mysterio. We see a replay of Seth’s attack on Mysterio’s eye two weeks ago. Hilariously forced booing after the video ends. Seth says Rey took him to a dark, dark place.…
Apollo Crews def. Andrade, Becomes United States Champion | WWE Raw Results (5/25/2020)
WWE Monday Night Raw continues and our opening match is for the WWE United States Championship, Andrade defending against Apollo Crews. Even for this fake crowd that is on a script, Andrade is clearly more over as a heel than Apollo is as a babyface. WWE United States Championship: Andrade (c) vs. Apollo Crews Lock-up, Andrade slips to the corner and gets the clean break. Lock-up again, Apollo with a waistlock takedown. Attacks him in the corner, shoots him to the ropes, back elbow for a 1 count. Hoists him up, biiiig delayed vertical suplex! Cover and kickout at 1.…
WWE Monday Night Raw begins and we got ourselves an audience tonight, finally got wrestlers in the crowd. And thanks to how small this place is, it doesn’t take much to make this sound loud. They’re behind glass dividers as well. It is standing room only in there though and I don’t quite feel like that’s necessary. Three hours is kind of a while for that but eh. Anyway Kevin Owens and the Kevin Owens Show begins and they chant loud for him. Kevin says they’re all lucky, he’ll be taking on Angel Garza in a match. Gets them to…
Another episode of WWE Raw is on tonight. You’ll be able to see the results of the show as they come, plus links to in-depth recaps of the show below. We have a triple threat tonight to determine the No. 1 Contender to her Raw Women’s Championship. This of course brings out the challengers, Nia Jax, Natayla and Charlotte Flair. The inevitable argument breaks out into the inevitable fight and Asuka stands tall. Segment 2: Apollo…
The Elite def. The Inner Circle In Stadium Stampede | AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 Results | All Elite Wrestling
AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 is almost finished and it’s gotta be said, to have a show of this caliber in an empty arena is honestly incredible. We have but the main event left and it’s one that’s been taped yesterday and has been talked up quite a bit as a match unlike any other before it. Before we get to it, they go ahead and do the show recap. Makes me wonder if this match is not gonna have commentary. We’ve got the Stadium Stampede match, pitting the Elite versus the Inner Circle. Here we go! Stadium Stampede Match:…
AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 continues and we now begin with our first of two main events as they put it. Mr. Brodie Lee comes out wielding the AEW World Championship which he stole. In the ring are several redshirts, security guards with S.A.F.E. on their shirts. Jon Moxley comes down the stairs at the side of the building as he tends to. The guards are just there to ensure Moxley and Brodie stay separated for the duration of the introductions. Brodie cuts off Dasha’s introduction and forces her to call him the self-proclaimed AEW World Champion as he poses…
Hikaru Shida def. Nyla Rose, New AEW Women’s World Championship | AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 Results | All Elite Wrestling
AEW Double Or Nothing commences, Hikaru Shida and Nyla Rose meeting up in a no DQ, no count-out match for the AEW Women’s World Championship now. Hikaru looking as deathly serious as ever right now. And Nyla of course comes out wielding Shida’s kendo stick. No DQ, No Count-Out Match For The AEW Women’s World Championship: Nyla Rose (c) vs. Hikaru Shida Bell rings, Shida with a running kick to the stomach. Nyla whips her to the ropes, wants a swing of the stick but Shida holds onto the ropes, kicks the stick out of her hands and takes it…
AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 continues. Shawn Spears emerges in a suit, clearly not dressed to wrestle. He talks about how all mediocre careers have to end. He’s still here but where is Dustin Rhodes? Dustin’s music hits and Spears waits for a while, looking shocked… but after several moments he turns around with a huge smirk on his face. Apologizes and says it works every time. Demands that Aubrey start the count. She goes for it, but Dustin’s music hits again… Spears yells that it was only supposed to be the one time. Brandi Rhodes makes her way out……
Kris Statlander def. Penelope Ford | AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 Results | All Elite Wrestling
AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 continues. Dr. Sampson is here to give us an update on Britt Baker and talks about some severe injuries that she’s sustained, but admits that the patient is worse than the injury, she’s pretty high maintenance. That does kinda ease my nerves a bit that they’re talking like this about it. Says that since she’s such a role model she wants to be there to give us the update herself on Dynamite. That leads to the match between Kris Statlander and Penelope Ford. Hilariously Kip Sabian comes out with an exaggerated amount of bandages and…
