Adam Cole has taken aim at Hangman Page and the AEW World Championship. However, this has gotten the Dark Order ready to fight for their friend once again. Tonight, 10 steps up to the plate to both avenge a recent loss from Evil Uno and to perhaps take out a challenger before they even reach Hangman Page.
Adam Cole Cuts Down The Powerhouse Of The Dark Order
Stealing from Tye Dillenger, Ten led the crowd in a ten chant, before driving Cole off into the corner. Cole would grab a headlock before being shoved off and ran down with a shoulder tackle. Ten would dodge the pump kick, and nailed a German Suplex – dumping Cole on his head.
Cole would slip out of the ten downward punches in the corner and kick the previously injured knee of Ten. Wrapping the knee around the ring post, Cole would assume Ten was down and took time to taunt before a delayed vertical suplex. Ten would be cut back down, and sent to the outside where his knee was slammed off the steps.
Back in the ring a Pump kick would land, before Cole would drop his weight on the knee of Ten. The attack on the knee was very focused, but Ten was able to fight back with some lariats and a spinebuster. Cole hit the enziguri and backstabber in response, before going for Panama Sunrise and being countered.
Channelling Mr. Brodie Lee, Ten nailed a huge discus lariat for a near fall. Cole would again set up Panama Sunrise, and it was blocked with the spear. Ten looked for the Full Nelson, but Cole was able to break free and look for a pinfall. The hold was applied again, and Cole used a low blow to get free and nail The Boom for the victory.
The Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match Gets Beefy As Powerhouse Hobbs Joins Keith Lee & Wardlow
We’ve already seen Keith Lee & Wardlow qualify for the Face of the Revolution Ladder match. Tonight, we find out who else will join the field, as Powerhouse Hobbs takes on Dante Martin. This is also a chance for Hobbs to finally get rid of Martin, who double crossed Team Taz in 2021. Each man has a win in singles action, making this the rubber match.
Hobbs rushed in to start this match, with Martin getting driven right into the corner. Martin tried to fly and was nearly caught in a chokeslam. Hobbs was sent to the outside with a dropkick, but was unable to complete the dive to the outside. Martin was put on the apron with a suplex, before getting shoulder tackled to the stage.
Hobbs would throw Martin right back into the ring with a hip toss, before Martin was tossed across the ring with a biel toss. Martin tried to come back with the sunset flip, before being stomped out. Bear Hug was applied, and Martin fought free just to be driven down to the mat.
Hobbs was sent to the outside and hit with the dive, before the shotgun dropkick off the top rope, before coming back with the Last Will & Testament spinebuster for the big win.
