AEW Dark is now available on YouTube! Not something covered every week, but done as in-depth as anything else when it happens! Below you’ll see links to in-depth recaps of every segment. Here are your AEW Dark Results:
Segment 1: The first match saw Colt Cabana take on the Captain Shawn Dean in a fairly basic bout, which Cabana won somewhat out of nowhere with a Superman Pin.
Segment 2: In the first tag team match of the night, the Jurassic Express – represented by the returning Jungleboy and Luchasaurus – took on and defeated the team of Mike Reed and the awesomely named Ryan Rembrandt.
Segment 3: The third match saw Private Party make their return to the ring to take on and dispatch of the team of Lee Johnson and Musa.
Segment 4: The Dark Order’s 10, aka Preston Vance was in action next. He’s a jacked competitor with a ton of athleticism. He made pretty quick work of Jon Cruz in their match and notched his first victory in AEW in the process.
Segment 5: In a pretty damn good little match, Rey Fenix faced off with Alan Angels, the same ‘jobber’ who caused a minor firestorm recently just by having a regular match with Kenny Omega rather than getting squashed. In a direct repeat of this he actually got even more high level offense in on Fenix in their bout and I am now convinced they stealthily signed this guy at some point and disguised him as one of the many indy guest enhancement talents they’ve been using. Of course even if this is true, in the end, Fenix got the victory.
Segment 6: In the first women’s match of the night, Kris Statlander faced off with Dani Jordyn who interestingly got a big smoke show on her way out. Statlander got the win with a Big Bang Theory, not a ton of difficulty.
Segment 7: Next up, we had a rare Orange Cassidy singles match as he took on Jason Cade and largely made a fool of him before getting the victory.
Segment 8: Britt Baker defeated Skyler Moore and got some last-minute momentum heading into the fatal four way match tomorrow in the process.
Segment 9: The main event of the evening was a grudge match several weeks and even months in the making, with Dr. Luther going up against Jimmy Havoc. In a hard hitting No DQ match with much interference from Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian, Havoc got the victory.
